My name is Robert Stubbs and I'm from a suburb of Dallas, Tx, called Richardson. I'm a finance major at Texas A&M and am graduating this upcoming May of 2015. My 'hobbies and interests' include listening to music (mostly classic rock and funk), callusing my fingers on an electric guitar (50's Classic Vibe Tele), and I also enjoy most any type of stand-up comedy. Currently taking a real estate finance elective, I expect to learn more than enough to make me an informed buyer and homeowner so that in the future if/when some sort of 'housing crisis' takes place, like what occurred in 2008, I can steer way clear of it. As far as long-term career goals, I have none, finance is such a diverse field and almost every guest speaker Ive seen speak on the subject had no idea they would be in their current position as a college student, but they've all found their dream jobs. In the short term, I plan to finish strong and graduate with a decent GPA this semester, and grab an entry-level trading position in a place like New York, or Seattle. What's unique about me? I'm me. Everybody is unique and unlike any other in their own right. But if you need to know something I haven't said above, I used to swim competitively and it was really the one sport I excelled at. Butterfly was my stroke of choice. As for a 'Bucket List', well I think I'm too young to really have put a whole lot in it just yet, but I would like to travel and see as much of the world as possible. As far as favorite websites go, I really don't have any I couldn't live without, but oh hey, here's one I bet you've never heard of: https://www.youtube.com/. Reddit is pretty cool too.
